SBQ - Mishaps and blunders

What is the biggest mishap you have had with your stitching material (i.e. spillages)?

I don't think I've had any big mishaps where fabric was concerned, but I did have one nasty incident with orange drink falling all over my Needlepaints threads. Panic soon followed. Fortunately I was reassured by several people online that the Needlepaints wash fine, since they're colorfast. Breathe sigh of relief. Commence dunking and washing of threads. The threads turned out reasonably well, although some are sticky in places.
